Default Wiring Harness Question

I am swapping an’04 Tahoe 5.3/4L60e into a ‘79 Jeep J10 pickup. I sent the eng/trans wire harness off for conversion into a standalone a few years back, then got delayed. Now I’m working to get it going. Just noticed that the “must keep” AC compressor plug is cut off and in a box. Can this be reinstalled and made to work?

PS - no idea any more who did the previous work.

thanks!

Yes, the LT1Swap site can tell you which pin hole on which PCM connector that wire should be threaded back through.

I appreciate the response! I’m not sure I can find the info though, there is so much and I’m far past overload without much background in this area. Can you point me a little closer please. Also, what branch of the harness should this connector be on? It looks from the way it lays on the engine that it should be on the same section as the MAF sensor which is on the end? I’m thinking I could peel that area open and see if the original wires are still in there somewhere…. Or course, once I figure out the pins I can look and see if the wires are in there from that end too.

thanks! Scott

Default Extra Connectors?

I found some extra connectors. One looks like a knock sensor connector. First pic is my knock sensors plugged into a connector which is also shown in the second pic, from my harness. Third pic is an extra connector on the other side of the engine. Just leave this hanging there?

Default Extra Connector

Here’s three others I can’t find pics of anywhere yet. Again, Gen 3 stand-alone harness for an 2004 Tahoe. Anyone have any idea what these might be?

Thank you! Yes - good info. I have those connector pic sheets printed out and still can’t figure these out. Anyone have any idea what these connectors are?

any reason I would have two knock sensor connectors and does it matter?

thanks!

Wire colors going to the connectors would help.

These looks like black and white striped wires
Dirty wires and sticky tape make the color hard to see.

The big 12 pin white connector might be C152.
You can go the the GM upfitter site to find factory diagrams. They are helpful for this kind of thing.

The upfitter site has changed since I used it in the past couple years and I’m not sure where to find the connector index.

Here’s C100, 152 and 153
