Question Ls1 bracket questions

Have a 99 tahoe that i put a ls1 in. still trying to find more parts to make this thing run. i have been through a few things all to a dead end as to why i am here. the motor came from either a 98 or 99 camaro, it was in a 59 vette for little over a yr. when it was pulled the alternator and bracket where kept and no power steering with that car. so this is what i have been trying to locate without success. the alternator bracket and alternator, power steering pump (lines if they are compatiable) and bracket, the ac conversation to work with the lt1 ac compressor from the tahoe. i talked with summit racing and several people about these items, learned a lot but not enough. 1st time motor swap (i realize a different motor would have been easier but here we are) i am also unsure about a plug and play wiring harness as some are 1200$ online and just today a guy who does this for a living said i could find one for 200$ (he doesnt want to work on what i already started, understandable, but that leaves me back at square one) any info links or knowledge would be greatly appreciated. Many people like the inexpensive brackets from DirtyDingo:

Ask them about compatibility with your desired AC compressor.

If you like that, ask them which PS pump they recommend. I have used an early version of their bracket and it wasn't fully compatible with the PS pump I bought.
For several LS swaps, I bought the main engine harness on ebay for around $200 and received excellent quality.

Since it sounds like you are buying a harness, I would recommend one for a 1999-2002 and then buying a "411" PCM, even if your motor came with a '98 PCM. (The '98 PCM is wired differently from the "411" for '99 through 2004 or so).

Are you trying to use the factory compressor for the truck like this one? (Don't mind the terrible looking engine bay. This truck is my winter beater.)
This is a 99 Suburban. I used ICT Billet brackets. They make a setup that uses the factory compressor and power steering pump from the late (Vortec) GMT400s. Factory AC lines work, just had to bend one side a little to clear the intake cover. I used a different alternator and bracket (from them) to allow clearance for the turbo. I believe the other alternator bracket locates it pretty much where the stock GMT one sits.

If you are looking for a Dirty Dingo low mount a/C bracket (for sanden) I have a new set in the box for $135.
