Default E40 pin assignments after segment swap

I'm planning the wiring for an upcoming Colorado build which necessitates using an E40 ECM (ugh)
It'll require a CTS-V operating system and various Trailblazer parts segment swapped in

My question relates to the physical pin assignments. Should the harness match the OS file or the segment?
EX: pedal assignments are totally different from CTS-V to TBSS

Or is this something I'll have to guess and check?

I thought that Colorado swaps would use a 2006 Trailblazer SS E40 file. I think that the LS2 CTSV used the E67 computer as the later 07-09 TBSS did. The E67 only works with a 58x reluctor wheel.

05-06 CTS-V were still 24x and used the E40

For colorados, most of the tune is based on trailblazer

The main difference is cruise control. Colorados use a resistor ladder where trailblazers use a traditional 3 wire. CTS-V's use a resistor ladder style stalk. Since cruise input type isn't something that can be adjusted in HPT, the CTS-V OS is required

I think I may just use the TBSS E40 tune complete and modify the physical cruise stalk. Skip this CTS-V nonsense

Interesting thing about E40's I didn't know until knee deep in them. They're actually PCM's, not ECMs. Colorado 4/5 cyls run 4L60E controls through them without a T42. Only the V8 versions use an external T42 to control the same trans

i to thought having cruse control working on my colorado swap was going to be great. after driving the truck and cruse not working like current performance alluded it would, i did not miss it as 500 hp is fun in these trucks. i have the Colorado v8 swap harness for sale. e40 ecm. t42 tcm, throttle pedal with bracket. programed to tbss. went holly.
