I'll be there! My father-in-law lives in Diamondhead, MS which is real close to Waveland and Bay St Louis where there are CtC venues.
Waveland, MS is about the western most area of CtC and the cruise stretches about 50 miles to the east past Biloxi. If I'm not mistaken, Cruisin' the Coast has had over 10,000 registered participants for the past two years. I'm expecting the same this year.
This is on my bucket list someday. Have a friend that lives down there and goes every year. Looks like a good time. Absolutely love that fox body you got there. Need to get me another one eventually.
Before CTC we went to Singing River Street Rod show in Pascagoula. After that when CTC first started we attended for several years. Lady Luck had open bar and eats too. Then, as attendance went up, prices went up, traffic went up and services went down. Haven't been there for years.

Thank you, rryan! I just put a 2" cowl hood from Late Model Restoration Supply (LMR) on the car but the paint shop only sprayed one coat of paint and the color isn't close to matching. I picked up the painted hood with my pick up truck and didn't notice the paint difference until I installed the hood this past weekend. Driving the car (with the hood installed) back to them today to see what they say.
The color of the car is Ford Oxford White. The front fender is the actual color. I painted the engine bay before I did my LS376/480 swap and I had Oxford White mixed at my local paint and body supply store so I know the color and this hood isn't the color!
The paint shop told me that they get their paint from the same place that I purchased my paint, Tasco Auto Color. I think that the paint and body shop only sprayed one or two coats of white over dark primer. It looks like it needs at least one more coat of Oxford White shot on the hood.
Cruisin' the Coast is a really good time and there are just sooooooo many cars. There are so many cars that I usually never see the same car again on subsequent days.
I'll attend venues all along the MS gulf coast from the western edge, Waveland, all the way (about 50 miles) to the eastern edge just past Biloxi. It's so much fun to drive the beach road and see all the other hot rods out and about. These are all driven cars, not trailer/garage queens.

33willys, it can definitely be crowded, especially the venues in Gulfport and Biloxi. The smaller venues near where my father in law live aren't quite as crowded. My father in law lives in Diamondhead, MS which is about 10 miles from the seashore. On Wednesday of the CtC week, CtC has the "Blessings of the Classics" hot rod parade through Diamondhead. The parade goes right in front of his house. We sit outside in lawn chairs and enjoy seeing hundreds of cool cars drive by. Many of the drivers/passengers are throwing candy and Mardi Gras beads.

First mistake... Not using a light gray sealer prior to shooting white paint.

In line for the Long Beach parade. It was cool/fun to hang out with hundreds of other cruisers waiting for the parade to start in the early evening.
Lots and lots of people lining the streets to watch the cars go by. So many Mardi Gras beads thrown as well as candy and stuffed animals by the cruisers.
Dannyual777 we were so close to crossing paths! We were not in the parade, but we were spectators on this corner near the end. What a great week we had though! Now its time to go use my inspiration on my project
