Need help! Ok I have a 90 Camaro RS that I’m putting a 2002 5.3 (from a Silverado)with an 2006 intake(including the DBW throttle body and injectors) a 2006 4L60E (from and Escalade) what would be the best/cheapest way to get a wiring harness and computers to make it run. I want to go to DBC so I don’t have to deal with the DBW junk. (Not a fan of computer stuff but my brother-in-law gave me the engine and transmission) any help would be greatly appreciated.

First off, go to thirdgen.org. That is a tech only site exclusively for 82-92 Camaro/Firebird. There is a very large subforum dedicated to LT/LS swaps. Every problem you may encounter has been debated to death in there. The LS swap sticky at the top of the forum is a detailed bible of what to expect from general to the most intricate minutia
To answer your questions here, first decide which ECM you plan to use. If an OEM style ECM like the older 0411 box, be sure to find a tuner willing to take it on. LS tuners are becoming less common as days go by. OEM style boxes are very restrictive on what parts can be mixed/matched, esp with DBW. Aftermarket systems like holley terminator are much more flexible to which components you need and can use
Cost will follow which route you choose, but don't let the number dictate the path or the build will become more difficult/costly in other areas

Buy a pre-made swap harness and a tuned PCM from a reputable shop like PSI Conversions. It's the easiest way to get everything you need without the wiring headache. Just tell them your engine and transmission specs.
