Ive got a set of 225's on order...just waiting! The nice part about the 408 so far is that with the old heads/cam 346" 400rwhp i had before UNBELIEVEABLY boring compared to this 408....

Stroker motors are awesome on the street! I rolled in the gas from a stoplight the other week and it feels like a train hitting the back of the car from the low end/mid range....i love how much fun on the street this motor is....its the first time that its been fun to drive without the 300 shot.....

Hey,, That's a great sleeper. There's one more option that makes these cars look even more unsuspecting. You might already have it installed. Keep that real small 4cyl stock tail pipe, not hooked up, just peeking out from under the bumper. That helps your Wolf in sheeps clothing style. Well, only if your not running, say in a parking lot and people are walking around it.

People think my CJ5 has a 600lb 2bbl 304 3 speed. That was stock and most think a shifter **** tells what tranny you've got.

Good luck
LM
jeep with an ls1 badass!! Great choice on a vehicle for an ls1 swap.

Yea..we talked about the little gay hangy 4cyl tailpipe and i think its a great idea too....

Today Dan (Ls1fox) picked up his MAC Longtube 302 headers for 79-93 mustangs, the GM ls1 flanges (available from dealer) look like they are going to weld right up to them and the headers will bolt in like factory. He will even be able to use factory mustang h-pipe and catback setups because the factory mustang headers!

A K-member for a '96 up mod-motor car clears the oil pan much easier. Fits the car fine and looks like it was made for an LS1.

<----Hopes to have LS1/Fox running this weekend!

351W longtubes(Mac 1 3/4) clear the steering. They'll need to be modified of course, but they have a provision for the steering rod. Hooker Comp headers work well too, but hang a little low IMO.

All that paint is slowing you down! ours is ghetto stripped (kept dash, doorpanels, carpet and front seats only) and weighs 2500lbs with ls1
