LS1 in to Feiro well my buddies are the ones doin it but as soon as it done ill post picks, theve already got the old motor out and there just freshing the LS1 up to handle spray and then there dropping it in. apparetly its been done twice before so the motor mounts are there. just a heads up on an upcoming monster
That will be bad ***. I wanted to do this, but lack of funds does not allow that at this time. I have seen V-8 Fieros before and they move. Should be killer when it's done. I read an article about 5 years ago or so of two Fieros with Northstar conversions in them. They would pull the wheels off the ground with street tires and stock engine. They also ran 11s stock. An LS1 with H/C setup and spray would probably put one in the 9s.

We have a quick Fiero or 2 kickin around here 
Can't remember the specs on this one but its got some sick amount of giggle juice and a SBC in it. Wheelie is limited by wheelie bar. Goes through tranny's like crazy though!

Ol' Archie has done some awesome stuff with Fieros, the pics on the website are worth the visit alone! he had a yelow one with a chopped roof and some other tricky stuff, very nice

he's running the stock Getrag-5 with custom-fabbed drive-axles. I'm the guy Gary was talking about... 87 Fiero GT in the process of getting and LS1 heart and fully adjustable Koni suspension for easy street/strip tuning.
I'm actually really thinking about my tranny choices at the moment because the Porsche 951 can take a beating and looks promising but won't fit without throwing off the balancing of the car too much to the rear. I'll stick with the 5-speed for a while and then most likely get a bullet-proof auto just for convenience, consistency, and reliability purposes

any time.... just let me know. it is sitting in my garage just waiting for spring. I do run the getrag five speed. I actualy uise the stock axles. the inner pasenger CV joint has a small modification but that is it. I run stock tires so they are my fuse. they break loose befor anything else breaks.

Anybody check out Loyde at www.fastfiero.com ? he's doing one with a 4T65E-HD A4. The proto is going into my GP. Be running by mid-January. See you at ASC III, San Antonio Texas January 28th, 2005.
