Default motor mount adapters

Ive heard people talking about some sort of adapter to use the stock mounts. Is this something where i can keep my standard small block mounts and bolt something onto those that bolts to an ls1?

Thanks,
Matt

i was looking on the s&p catalog (poorly designed if you ask me) and found these things on page 64 that say you can mount an ls1 on conventional v8 mounts. Does this require welding or is it straight bolt on?
