What transmission are you using?
on my truck I kept my original pcm so on the speed sensor I just spliced into it so that my dash speedo and the new pcm would both know how fast I was going

See i got rid of my old pcm and wiring for it. I am about to reinstall a 4l60e cause i dont really like not having overdrive with the turbo 350. Is there another way to get it to work like tie into the speedo on the truck and the ls1 pcm to make it work i dont care about it being a little off just want it to work

If your speedo is cable driven , there is a module available to convert the VSS signal to a cable . It's available at www.hawksthirdgenparts.com

I am pretty sure 93 is the same as 94. On mine I just tied into the VSS wires from the PCM to the 4l60e and ran them to the DRAC inside the truck behind the glovebox.

Yep, you can do it that way, or if the DRAC is gone you can take the SPEED out wire from the LS1 PCM and tie it directly to the SPEED in wire of the cluster. The signal out of the old DRAC is the same as the signal that comes out of the LS1 PCM.

I knew somewhere around those years they went to a VSS instead of a speedo cable, just wasn't sure when.
