If you haven't gotten any diagrams and pinouts let me know, I'll bundle them up and send them to you. Let me know.

Ok, here is what I have found out about the oil level sensor. The sensor is just a ground and a wire going to the PCM. As for the low oil indicator, that is part of the class II serial data port. Basically it's the same path that is used for the DLC connector which you need to run diagnostics and such, but it's also spliced into the BCM, ABS brain, instrument cluster (which is what controls the light), and the airbag brain on the fbodies. Basically to eliminate the oil level sensor you are going to eliminate one ground wire from a splice pack and one from the PCM.

Red 53 connects the EBCM (Electronic Brake Control Module) to the PCM, when the EBCM sees the need to actuate under "traction control mode" it grounds the GRY/BLK at Red 53 to signal the PCM to reduce power via retarded timing. If you aren't using ABS or Traction Control you certainly wouldn't need that Red 53.

Oscar, thanks for the info

After a couple moments on our somewhat wet roads over here, I have opted for using a traction control. but due to the mix of components in my chassis & brakes I have opting for a racetronic system, which I can wire iinto each injector to give a phased injector cut to drop power. I will have a look & see if I can use timing instead, I know the make a version that'll do that.

Also has the advantage so I can set to 0,5,10,20% slip, as well as launch control, and full throttle gearshifts....
