Which Fuel Pump!!

Alright doing a ls1 swap into my 3rd gen, using the vette reg./filter and stock fuel tank and wondering what fuel pump should i order. Should i just order the walbro 255 pump or should i get the racetronics pump/harness. The main question is will the harness work with the ls1(plugs into alternator) and is it worth it or should i just get the pump for $108 from Autoperformanceengineering.com.

P.S. - Should i get the High pressure 255 or just the regular 255.

I used the Walbro 255 high pressure pump kit from autoperformanceengineering.com and it's been fine. I didn't pop for the fancy alternator wiring kit, just plugged it into the factory wiring.

thanks a lot, was it hard to install or does it just plug it in, also does anyone know if the wiring kit for the 3rd gen will work with the ls1.

It was a direct drop-in swap, no mods needed, plug 'n play. How easy it is depends on you...ever dropped the gas tank before?

The wiring pigtail that comes w/ the basic kit they sell plugs directly into your third gen in-tank connector.

The spiffy alternator wire kit should work w/ the LS1 alt no problem.
