apparently these things are rwd, and only weight about 2000 pounds. Has anyone ever considered one of these for a conversion? do we know if an LS1 will even fit?

Kinda like the Triumph TR6's from back in the day. A guy here had a 406 I believe in one. It ran 7 flat in the 8th on the bottle. It'd be a cheap enough project to start out with.

Those things are going for ridiculous money around here. All the "Initial D" ricer bastards are standing in line to buy those ugly little turds.
All that being said, It is RWD and I "think" it has a solid axle too. I'm sure that an LS1 could be stuffed in there, although I think a 2.3 turbo Ford is really the american powerplant that would best work in that thing.

Nothing is wrong with the game. In fact, its my favorite driving arcade game. It's trying to use the game to justify dressing like a dumbass and driving like a moron on public roads that bothers me. About once a month one of those asshats piles their car up "drifting" down Green Mountain here in Huntsville.
