i use it all the time... right now, i even use it to keep a eye on my coolent temp everytime i drive.... contrary to what was posted here, the resistance curve of a 98 coolent temp gauge does NOT match anything close to what my stock temp gauge expects.... so i read it off the laptop until i can get the time to adjust it.
I'm using it also. IMHO its a must have in a conversion car. Theres too many things that can go wrong during a swap, and having the software right there to diagnose a problem is well worth the money you spend on it. Trust me, I was banging my head on the wall with tranny problems for 2 weeks before I got the HPtuners, turns out it was a bad VSS.

when i pulled into the parking lot, a cop turned in behind me to remind me that the limit was 45.. not 65 (really it was only 55, but i wasnt going to argue)
i showed him my laptop with the gauges and it was like i brought out a little kid in him, he was freaking out with "ooh thats neat"... i basicly told him i didnt mean to speed, i jsut couldnt see the screen at that moment....
got a little verbal warning to get my REAL speedometer fixed.. lol.
They have to catch me to give me warnings, or.... take me to jail. 
I just hate to spend $300 on a converter box just to have it tell me what I already know........... I'm speeding. LOL Instead of it being called a speedo it should be called a "speeding ticket estimator".

but i was the only one in the shop that didnt mind driving long distances... so i eventually ended up mostly driving the truck to various small airports around texas to deliver and pickup props...
really it wasnt a bad setup for me... i could easily drive 12 hours in one day.. you rack up alot more pay that way.. lol.
