What about the alternator?

a buddy of mine is doing a conversion in a 6 cylinder fbody to an ls1 he needs help figuring out what to do with the alternator? hes not running anything else but that! so what can you do? what do you use? and all pics would be greatly apperciated!

No water pump? I'd just run a tensioner and a really short belt. I only have a water pump, alternator, and Katech tensioner on my car.

right the water pump is there also but whta i mean is how did you mount the alternator? stock bracket? did you modify it? i looked on you're site and didnt see any pics of that but nice car

I only run crank, water pump and alternator and tensioner.
Same as doing the short belt mod only its like that all the time. I dont have P/S or A/C. Leave everything in stock position and buy a shorter belt. Simple.
