Default LS1 Trike

I thought you guys might like to see my little conversion. These are a few photos taken several months ago in the early stages of construction.
It has an LS1 engine with a shortened powerglide transmission mated directly to a Nissan R33 open Diff with a 3.1 ratio (originally LSD, but no good on trikes if you want to go round corners.) The rear end is also R33. The whole package weighs less than 750 kgs including body.(which is still under construction, but we won't go there.) It is up and running now(minus body) and I have had a bit of fun at the local racetrack. It tops out at 88 mph in first gear so I am thinking that there are not too many vehicles I have to worry about at the lights. Hope you like the photos. I will post photos of the finished product soon.(I hope)

Cheers Oztriker

What are you using for front shocks? Now you need to polish the engine and add lots of chrome! Ha ha. Not really. It looks bad ***.

Thanks for the positive feedback guys. It is much appreciated. I tried to post photo of my trike wheel standing down the road but I had difficulty shrinking the image. I will try again tonight. The last thing you need to see is a blown up image of my ugly head .

Cheers OZ

WHOA!

this is COOOOOL

from the email he sent me:

The drawings underneath the wheelstand are concept drawings of the body which i hope to have completed in the next 4-6 weeks. The body is pretty much as seen on the drawings except for blinkers which will be Ducati 999 which are mounted on the mirrors in order to pass registration vision requirements. Tail lights are not as drawn but are similar to Skyline taillights.
