where do you buy the ls1 dummy blocks

Summit sells them. They also have mockup 4L60e and 4L80e transmissions, maybe T56es as well, didn't notice those.

get a junk block if you can- once you take out the rods, pistons, and crank- it's not that heavy. I'd guess about 75 lbs. I scored a junk block for $75 as I recall. The plastic ones are more than $300

i did a search a while back for plastic blocks and found the same thing. prices for blocks and trannies about 300 each. we need someone to donate a dead bare block and empty tranny case for fittment purposes and if you need it just pay shipping from the last guy who has it, then pass it along (for shipping ) to the next guy.

I have an empty 4L60E, bare / junk heads, water pump, and an intake manifold I will be selling soon. I'd like to keep the block though to make a table. PM me if anyone's interested.

I was going that route until I found out the price for those things. You'll be better off finding a core in the LS1TECH For Sale section.
