Default Mail Order Pcm Tuner

i bought a custom flashed PCM by mail order because my car died after 5 seconds with a functioning bakerelectronix vats disable. jessebubb@yahoo.com sold one to me, flashed with vats disable, bcm disable, speedometer correction for my taller diff, larger tire diameter and emissions in one day for $150. jesse also said that his tune will give about 20 more rwhp. i'll post again after some various driving modes. jesse uses LS1 edit and hptuners depending on the job.

i have had quotes from other mail order tuners for as much as $350 for just the reflash. jesse included the PCM so i will have a spare.

I used the same service. Jesse modified my harness and did my PCM for a lot less than what everyone else charges. He is a hell of a nice gu and stands behind his products. His harness modification looks outstanding. You can tell he puts in the time to make them look good and function.

Do you have any pictures of his harness work?

Thanks

I'll vouch for him also! Nice prices, and very nice guy... However my harness, computer, and my friends harness and computer are both taking now past 2 weeks to get here! Hopefully they aren't lost

two weeks for a harness is not suprising. i waited a month door to door. lots of the time is just in shipping. when you get it you will be pleased.

I got a pinout for a mod'ed harness (99+)off this forum. Seems like the removal of the unneeded wires/pins shouldn't be too difficult if that's all there is to it. I have years of wiring experience, so I'd prefer to save the money. What else is involved with the mods besides removal of what's not required? Also, I'm sure this has been asked, but can a truck harness be made to work?

For an LS1? Don't bother. You'll have to change your injector plugs(different ones) unless you don't mind tracking them down or buying from GM(which would be a waste of money)

Run a harness for your car, Delete whatever isn't needed then get someone to do your computer (deleting what you deleted from the harness along with VATS, EGR or whatever you want gone along with changing tire sizes, rear gear ration yada yada)

Edit: Just read your sig..... It would be very wise to run a harness for an LS1 with a 6 speed. Harness's differ from auto and manual.

Also, For my comment about my harness and computer missing... I talked to Jesse today and he said that if it doesn't show up he's going to cover myself and my friend and get us 2 harness's and computers, rework them both and send them to us for no charge! What a great guy, totally recommend him!

Thanks, I had heard the injector plugs would be an obsticle. Just looking for the cheapest core that I can mod myself. BTW, I have an ECM tuned by Jesse. Typical rod tune. Just need a harness now so I can fire it up. Looking to spend $150 or less.

I bought a good 98 harness for $140 on eBay then sold it when I got a 99+ tuned ECM from Jesse (per his advice to go with 99+, thank god). I see them on there ending around that price occasionally. Usually when the seller misspells something... Guess I'll just keep looking
