19 city / 25 hwy on my LS6 (3:42 A4) and it's not tuned , and my cold air ( which also improves mileage) is not set up quite yet. I got 28.8 mpg going to Vegas in my '01 SS. Never got worse than 19 city/ hwy.
I could get over 30 on the freeway in my stock Formula if I drove 60-65 MPH and kept my foot out of it 
I averaged a little over 28 mpg on a 2700 mile round trip between Texas and Wisconsin (combined city and a LOT Of highway). Now it gets around 13 in the city and 22 on the highway with the 370cid motor.
