Its a cool idea but holy crap those things are pricey used.

I think they are almost as much if not more than new.

The 4.7 liter will fit so an LS1 should fit also.

Hennessey was putting in Viper motors in the fronts of PT Cruisers so you can make anything fit.

Be a very cool project but unless you found a completely junked out car one helluva expsensive one.

+1 on turbo the existing motor.

and whoever suggested a GN v6 over a ls1 why? the issue here is width, if anythign the ls1 woudl be easier b/c you dont have turbo stuff hanging off the side and piping everywhere.

they never got the pt project to work.......

LPE did one a few years back...it can be done.

If a 5.7 liter Hemi will fit, an LS1 will fit. The Hemi is almost as wide as the DOHC 4.6.
