Ls1 headers for a V8 Miata!!!
I am trying to pull all this together. I have been really busy trying this weekend building the headers for my Ls1 V8 miata conversion. They are 1 5/8" primary tube merging into flow master pulse collector set for long tube headers, that I cut to get the smooth merge. 1 5/8" to a 2 1/8" mid pipe going into a 2 3/4 merge collector. The room is very tight and realized that I had to become creative in the construction. I still have alittle left to do on the headers....weld in both O2 sensor bungs, weld on the left side collector, and check for clearance. Enjoy the pics.!!!!! I am trying to get it running by the end of September.

Later
nice work on those headers.
dont forget to lay down some thermal mat over the tranny tunnel before you put down your carpeting, I had to go back and lay some thermal barrier down because it was brutal in my Ls1rx7 with the headers/downpipes so close to the tunnel.
awesome.
I cant wait to see this done and running!
Thermal barrier mat already laid down. I have some more pics. of the work in progress. Yes, I can not wait to drive this creation!!!! I have been bust'n my A$$ to get to this point.......Man, I am tired!!! I am going to start building the center pipe soon. I will be running 4 mufflers to knock the bark of the exhaust. It will be like a total of 10 feet long.... 2 dyno Max straight through bullet mufflers and 2 magna flows in the rear. I am very interested in hearing this thing when it runs. I wonder how the tr224 114 cam will sound......
