Have a '94 STS without an Engine

Before I start, I would prefer finding a used or new Northstar V8.. Does anyone know of a place that sells one?

I'm not trying to get power or anything out of it, I just need an engine to put in it, without running into insane costs and what not.

Has anyone put anything in it other than its 4.6L Northstar?

The car is in great condition and my dad wants to keep it... but the engine went out on it and he wants to find another one... Tranmission is fine and usable...

If we can't find an engine for it and anyone wants it, we'll take $750 for it... (Will not have engine or transmission though). It's in great condition, that's why my dad wants to keep it so much, but we're screwed if we can't find something to put in it.

Dude, aren't there any junkyards in your area? My local one has several mid 90s cadillacs in it.

I am not sure where you are at but try www.car-part.com they will have something. There are also cadillac specific yards I can`t remember the web address but I think one was called Cadillac King. you can also try www.partslocator.com
