Default I6 into a nova

I've been talking to the wife, and somehow I've convinced her that SHE wants to restore an old Nova (70ish year). I'm obviously going to help, so I've been thinking of what engine to go with. Anyways, I was thinking that a 4.2L I6 from a trailblazer would be a cool and unique choice with adequate power and good gas mileage. (I would go LS1, but that is going to go in a 68 Camaro I'm going to build for me). Anyways, are where is a good place to get information on this engine swap.

BTW, I saw videos of a car at Dragweek running a mean turbocharged 4.2, so it definatly has some potential.

i thought about that myself... only doing it to like a 63 Nova. going from a straight 6 to a straight 6, just 40 years newer lol

i think the swap for that would be as much as a swap for an LS1.. so you might as well spend the extra $1000 and get an LS1..

I'm planning on dropping a I6 out of a trailblazer into my '52 Chevy p/u and putting a turbo on it. Should be fun... plenty of power and plenty of room for the plumbing and stuff. Good luck with yours!

Long story short, Drag week = drive your racecar to tracks, he was secretly (or thought secretly), towing it.
