I made it out of the original f-body mount, some chrome moly tube, rollcage gussets, and a polyurethane-based rod end. I don't know what kind of vibration absorption it will have yet. But it is adjustable <img src="gr_stretch.gif" border="0">

There will also be a horizontal bar going from the thru-bolt to the frame. My swap is a little trickier because of the steering shaft.
That thru-bolt style motor mount that the LS1 uses definately makes things easier to mock up and fab. I just put the motor where I wanted it, then measured the distance from the bolt to the frame. Cut the 2 pieces of metal, drilled the holes, spot welded it together and checked it out.
