I joke about this swap daily, as my neighbor has a 93 LX coupe which is parked next to my ta.

Re: LS1 into a Fox body? i have a beautiful, stock suspension, fully race ready 86 coupe. the painless wiring and computer in the car and the 2000 ls1 engine assembled and the powerglide trans ready. fixing to work out the mounts this week. i have done 2 sbc conversions so it is time for the ls1. i am sure if a bbc will go in a fox body a ls1 will make it.

Help! Has anyone put a Chevy small or big-block with a MANUAL transmission into a Fox body and used the Mustang clutch cable to activate the Chevy clutch throwout arm ??? If so, what bellhousing, throwout arm, and throwout bearing were used ?
