LS1 into 1951 Ford Truck
Here's an update into the progress on my 51 Ford.
S-10 Frame - completely rebuilt - energy suspension bushings, wheel bearings, ball joints, 4x4 rear end, considering drop spindles w/ airbags, stainless rotors and a posi carrier, gonna have to get traction bars...
2004 5.3L LS1 w/ 4l60e - Wait4me trim and tune, Sanderson Headers, Stealth conversions mounts, K&N Intake, Ported Throttle Body, Flowmaster, more planned...
1951 Ford F1 body - all steel, custom runningboards, new bed, new tailgate, bed floor shallowed ~3 inches
In the cab - Still to come...
All said and done, plan on running ~350 HP in essentially an S-10, shouldn't have any trouble smokin the tires off. I'll try to post some pics soon.

I haven't go the headers yet, they are due in from JTR Wednesday, but I have heard good things. I will post some pics when I get them on.
As for wiring I sent my harness to Wait4meperformance, Jesse tuned the computer (also VATS removal) and trimmed the harness down to "plug and play." All the non-engine wiring I will do myself, I didn't want to have to sort through all 200 engine wires...
