68 Chevy Shortwide 2WD corvette LS1 I just picked up my new LS1 today to throw into my pickup. The engine is a 98 ls1 from a corvette. I got a sweet deal on the engine now I just need some help on what it takes to mount it. It looks like I might have to move the stock transmission location back so that the oil pan will clear the crossmember but I'm not sure yet.
I'm using the stock manifolds, power steering and the alternator but not the A/C pump. I'm also mating it up to a brand new 700R4. I'm mostly concerned about mounting the engine in the bay.
Has anyone done a swap into a 67-72 chevy pickup? Any and all help is much appreciated.

I made my owen 3 bolt patern to the 4 bolt on the engine block 70 truck 5.3 4a
On my 72 truck 6.0 a4
I used 2002 4x4 truck engin mounts @ fram mounts
removed the 72 fram mounts weled in the 2002 fram
mounts ,all acc cleared fram .
