Awesome!! That car just has SO much more personality than a new Corvette, and probably cost the same amount all said and done. Got any full pictures of it?

Thanks for your input. I plan to install the fuel rail covers as soon as all is completed. It started and ran great from the first time it turned over. I received a great amount of help on my electrical and computer work from my son-in-law who just finished his 62 Corvette with LS1 and T-56. His is one of the best looking cars I have ever seen. I will get some pictures this weekend and post them. I still need to complete the interior and final work on air-conditioner, and dash. I was able to install all new gages in the old gage cluster it looks great, however racing season has started and I will be working on my vintage road race car the next few weeks.

This swap looks very good. What headers did you use for this swap?

I used the standard LS6 headers modified to accept the side exhaust. I plan to have some headers built at a later date if the crate motor and standard headers are not giving me the performance I want. The Street and Performance Headers looked good but they would not work with the side exhaust.

If you do decide to make your own headers at a later date. GM has the part to help get you started. It is a flange for the ls1/ls6 heads. Its part number is 12480130. You would need two ( one for each side) they are pretty reasonable in price too.
