That is cool. I know it was mentioned that some GM folks had confirmed a V8 would fit under that hood. And that conversion shows it for real! I like it. Looks good. Must be awesome to drive.

I would really like to see one with a modded cobalt 2.0 ss motor since its already sporting the ecotec... stock is 205 get that to around 300 and that would be a sick sick car to drive.

I am not trying to be an *** as that Solstice is faster than me, however, isn't a 12.8 second run kind of slow for the vehice? It weights less than a Corvette....

I am sure you could push a turbocharged Ecotec faster than that and for less money. It wouldn't be as cool though.

I love the car and those wheels are perfect for it. I would drive it!

Yea, I would tend to think that the little bugger would be a little short on traction. I'm sure the 60' times are all well over 2 seconds. I have the same probelm with my Corvette. It's light and powerful. Street tires don't help much on a dragstrip.
