Default 5.3 or 5.7 in mustang coupe

I am wanting to put a 5.7 ls1 in a mustang coupe, but I have found a 5.3 locally complete with computer and wiring harness and all accessories for $500. Should I do the 5.7 or 5.3. How much of a power differance is there going to be? Also the 5.3 is heavier becouse it is cast. Which one should i go with?

Sounds like a good deal, its a cheap way to start.... thats my plan, then put a forged motor in eventually... still looking for a 5.3 or 4.8 to work out the bigs with...
