need to order a harness today..feedback

Anyone have a Nelson Performance harness from Allen. Im ready to order one today and would feel better with some first hand feedback. Advice on the product, tech advice and overall satisfaction. Thanks

I don't have any experience with that company but for MY money I think Speartech is hard to beat, John really has his thumb on the pulse of these conversions.

Can't go wrong with Speartech. He's done a few for some of our customers with great results and can also rework a factory harness for a simple stand alone install similiar to the Speartech custom harnesses.

I bought my harness through my work (Texas-Speed) from a newer company that builds custom harnesses also, which is Superior Harness Company. I havn't installed it yet but have set it over an engine on an engine stand and everything was in-line with what I was expecting. I had mine done without rear O2 sensors and had extra wiring implemented for electric fans. It has a 2-wire power hookup provided with a fuse box, Battery + and Key-on ignition are about the only 2 that I have to hook up. Build time was about 1.5 weeks from order and there are a few options on harness length, A4/M6, etc. Let me know if you need more info/pricing on this.

I sent mine to John at Speartech for re-work. Perfect standalone harness and John is very helpful. It was cheaper than buying a Painless harness.

I vote for Speartech..

My second choice would be Street and Performance since they have done a ton of this stuff..

Edit.. saw you went with Nelson..

To get the very best answer, contact John. He did my harness and ECU. I am not running yet, but it sure looks nice! He has also been very responsive to questions and requests for assistance. There is also info on his web page.
