Default SolidWorks or Pro-E files - LS2 + T56

Does anyone here happen to have an accurate solid model of a complete or semi-complete LS1 or LS2 motor and or a T56 transmission that they would be willing to share?

If not, anyone have any idea where I might find one?

We are using SolidWorks, so most any of the common file formats should work.

Thanks!!

Wow, that'd take some serious time to make. I'm O.K at solidworks, but that'd take days to design. good luck finding it!

Even a low detail file of the basic shape would be fine-

If I had one here at our shop, our SW guy could do the motor in about 2 days with reasonable detail, but you are correct about it being a significant project to do the whole thign in fine detail end to end.

Huh? I bought my staff THREE single seat versions of Solidworks 2003 for less than that. For $15K you can get a network version with several licenses.

Modeling a somewhat accurate LSX in Solidworks would be pretty time consuming; of course you'd need the real thing to measure from.

It is a network version. You can send the programs directly to our CNC machines via network, and its not limited to one install. How much is a single seat version?

If you are a member of SEMA, there is a VERY complete model of an LS2 available thorough the SEMA/OEM exchange program.
