Good job, I cut the opening as you did, I also built up the area were the orignal tank seated to make it flush with old strap mounting location, 3/4" spacers. I was able to use some strap and contour it to the tank and the orignal location. I am thinking of re-enforcing the area that was cut open with some 1/8"x1" steel and use bots and make a gasket to use as an inspection plate that I can open should I need to get to the pump (so I will not have to drop the tank).
I'll post some pictures as soon as I complete and know what else I will have to modify.

For now, I am going to use the stock 99' F-Body, they fit without any problems. May move the Driver Side O2 just to give ia a little more room but it does fix right now.
I have read and heard that there are many others just using aftermarket F-Body Headers and others using the S&P's, but costly.. (don't know for sure) Guess I will find out more after or when I get to swapping in some.. anyone else have any comments?

I am doing a 70 elky and have just found the hooker headers for A bodies. They cost a little under $500. BCZEE can I get a few pictures of your frame notch. I'm not sure which way I 'm going to go notch or relocate stuff

This Notch was cut for the A/C compressor. With the way I had the engine mouted, the compressor was about 1/4" to 3/8" from the frame. I marked the frame with taper. I cut the notch with and extra 3/8" clearance. I know this is close and the tube from the A/C will not fit between the frame and the compressor as the stock tube routing. I made it this close cause my Tubing shop had a Compressor manifold that has two fitting that rotates and lock in place as you tighten the bolt. Check you tubing guy.
I have not complete making the A/C lines and tube yet. So I don't have any pictures of this and the tubes/lines being routed. I will be getting the car running in a few months and then drive it down to the shop for him to complete the tubes/lines for the A/C. I will post pictures then.
Hope these pictures help on the notch.
