M6 reverse lock out selonoid
Thanks
If you are using the Factory ECU it takes care of the reverse lockout for you. It will lock out reverse based on input from the vehicle speed sensor input. Once the car is traveling forward more than about 5KMH it wont let you into reverse.
Hope this helps.
Cheers

back when i had my stock motor (SBC) and a 6spd, i did that.
BAD IDEA.
several people suggested it, but i suppose they never did it.
think about this... you're going downhill, and you downshift.. well your foot is on the brake when you downshift...
instead of going from 6th to 5th.. you easily slip into reverse... not good... lol.
i just used a tiny push button on the side of my dash that i could hit with my left hand. (litterally the SIDE of the dash, so you couldnt see it.)
when i pushed it, it put +12v to the silinoid, and i could shift into reverse with my right hand (aussie guys, reverse the sides...)
if you're using the stock PCM, it takes care of this for you.
