Default Using Donor Cars gauge Cluster

has anyone used their donor cars gauge cluster? I think I want to take teh cluster out of my '01 T/A donor and use it in my '73 swap. Just curious if anyone's done it, and if so, how? I havent traced the wiring harness back from the cluster, does it go to the ECU or does it end up splitting to various sensors, or dies it go to the BCM? On that note, whats the BCM control/involve?

Not 100% sure, but I think you'd need the body/dash/fuse harness to make that a feasible plan.

Hmm...guess I might have to go ahead and rewire my car front to back with the LS1 stuff. Now I need tof igure out a way to make the LS1 column work in place of my '73 column... ::scratches head:: I'd rather not replace the entire front half of the car/floor pans/firewall with the LS1 stuff, thats MUCH farther (read time consuming/difficult) than I wnat to get into

You Can Always Ghetto Rig It As Not All Wires Are Needed .....get Some Wire Diagrams And It Will Make It Easier Than Having 50lbs Of Wiring On Your Car Lol
