Default supra sleeper????

hey guys i was bord to day in math class and i just got this idea and its just a thought im not doin it or anything i just want to kno what you think.

i was thinkin why not get a like '94 supra and put an ls1 in it. and i got this idea cuz me and my buddy were talkin about really cool sleepers and i was thinkin how to make it that altinmit sleeper. so you put the ls1 in the supra and you put a big *** rice exaust on it. now i kno this sounlds bad and a discras to that ls1 but i was just thinkin it would be a bad *** sleeper car cuz those rice exaust are alredy load so you woulndent really be able to tell that it bad a v8 or anything in it.

well its just a thought let me kno what you think. peace

that'd be pretty stupid considering there is nothing sleeperish about a supra and that for the money you spent putting an LS1 in it..you coulda just bought some basic parts and put down 500+rwhp in the supra.

Agreed, very stupid. It's tantamount to saying "I'm going to put a LS1 in my Lamborghini and then I'll have a sleeper."

Cars like Supras that are readily associated with hauling *** will never be sleepers, regardless of their powerplant.

Want a sleeper? Put an LS1 in a Volvo 240D or a diesel Mercedes sedan.

not a sleeper at all. A blown 572 in an Astro van is a sleeper, (if you can get it to sound stock.) Supras were toyotas flagship cars, many came twin turbo'd. How is that a sleeper?

The Supra has an already awesome powerplant that can make tons of horsepower and torque. Why would you put an LS1 in it? Anyways, everyone knows how brutal Supra's can be so it will never be looked upon as a sleeper in any way, shape, or form. Want a sleeper, do like a buddy of mine did with his Ford Focus and put a 347 Stroker in it and make it rear-wheel drive. All, take it easy.

I think I read somewhere that one of those Foci with the new 5.0 mod motor beat a Lamborghini around a track. If they looked a little more...uh...cool... it would be a fun swap.

The guy said a 1994 Toyota Supra in his post. Please correct me if I'm wrong but I think a 94' is MKIV? You sure as hell ain't going to fool anybody in one of those cars. Anyways, all take it easy.

buy the "RAW" racing video from Outlaw Motorsports- You'll see why a supra can't go together w/ sleeper

Like everyone said, '93+ is a waste of money is do that. Though if you got say an old '86.5 and threw in an ls1, then I would be a little more interested.

Of course you won't. Not when you have ricer kids playing "telephone game" and over cars that could be just run of the mill 15-17 second base, loaded, NA, automatic MKIVs, thinking that everything that looks like that is a big single, all out, 6-7 second car that can be daily street driven in that mode!! It's actually a reverse sleeper car (i.e.; all of those 15-17 second cars are assumed to be or must be 6-7 second cars).
