Everything is in I just have to figure out what size for the clutch line to use. I was going to go with a -4 an but -3an seems to be more correct. I bought a master from Tilton - Series 74. Its a 3/4" bore x 1" stroke which should work. I also need to know what thread size/pitch the inverted fitting is so I can buy one from summit since I need a 90 degree fitting right off the master. then I can adapt it to a -3 or -4 whichever will work. Thanks guys -Alex

Thanks fellow Datsun/Nissan owner. Do you think a -4 will work? I am having a hard time finding fittings for -3 on summit. -Alex

I wish I could say it's ok, but I have never tried it. But I dont see where there would be problem. And even if there was you could always buy -4 to -3 fittings and go smaller on the line.
Datsun rocks! Especially with an LS1! The 280Z is just scarry fast, and the LS1 has so much torque that any gear at any speed is ok. I start in 1st and go to 2000 rpm then shift into 4th or 5th and just lug along. I never downshift to pass when I'm in 6th, I just hit it and it goes.

-3 would be brake line fitment.
I wouldnt use -3 for the clutch, -4 is larger, and freer flowing due to its size. People do the "drill mod" for a reason.
Dont introduce that same restriction by using a hose that is too small diameter.

I've driven my friends F body with heads and cam and holy **** does that thing move... Now imagine that power in a 2600 lb car. Amazingly fast. -Alex

Are you guys sure that the 3/4" master works? The stock MC is a 7/8" bore and that is what I am using on my Mazda. I would stick with the -3 line.
edit.....what the hell do I know..I just read in a thread below that the stock 4th gen MC is 3/4. I swear somewhere else I read 7/8".....
Sorry to muddy the subject...

The MC that came with my 01 Camaro was 3/4".
I simply cut into and extended the -4 braided line with some -4 steel fittings, although I didnt actually use the factory MC.
