Default LT1 camaro with a ls1

I have a lt1 camaro with a ls1. i was wondering if anyone out there have this conversion and what air intake they used

That hugger 96 is sweet. Id have a muffler shop make me 3.5 or 4 inch tube cold air intake with the filter low similar to a moroso cai. matter of fact all you need is a 90 bend with a straight section than you could run a LT1 cold air.

i have a moroso intake ..but the bend seems to be a little restrictive

Took the pictures....but i was going to post them from work, and i dont' have the right driver here. i'll try to get them on tonight. It's not much, but my engine get's all the cold air it can use.

just get a mandrel bend from an exhaust shop to hook from the tb to the maf and maf to the moroso deal, use couplers in between, they sell them at home depot...I dig the orange u got more pics?

here's what i did. not sure how the framing/ bumper supports are on the 96 ss, but on my 96 bird there is a small hole where the air filter is in the picture, which leads to an empty boxed in area. I widened the hole with some help from my die grinder and BFH, and the 5 1/2 k&n fit right down in there. I went under the car and did a little homegrown engineering as you can see. Works great for me, and i think i did it for less than $50 bucks. Please excuse the mess, i haven't done any spring cleaning yet. I removed part of the air dam so the "scoop" (if you will) would catch more air. I'm going to widen the scoop when it warms up, and make it look better.

hey man i read in a book that u could cut off 1 inch of your rubber elbow to make it work. i would like to put an ls1 in my 94 z28. would you care to send some tips on what all it takes.

actually my friend did the swap but he replaced everything to a ls1 car. wirring dash rad,

if you need more info the guy that did my swap is on the board and there are a few other people that are doing the swap or just finshed it. i can give you there info if you need any help
