68redcamaro- i have a quick question, i'm looking at these for the swap in my signature, can you tell me about how far to the right the bottom tubes are from the head on the right side... measured horzontally to the right, from the head to the outside of the collector.

RESOLVED Summit is sending a call tag to pick these headers up and Hooker is sending new ones that are welded right

If i understand the question correctly, I measured from the header flange at the right head horzonally to the ooutside of the collector and came up with 4 inchs. Let me know if you need anything else.

can you do a couple more dimensions?? (please?)
1) horizontal measurement from the front edge of the head to the approximate location the front tube bends to go horizontally into the collector below. (right & left)
2) vertical measurement from the top edge of the flange to the top & bottom of the tubes before they enter the collector
3) width between the two collectors... inside & outside

are the rear two primaries almost verticle on both sides?

will these fit an auto trans?

I really wish someone in the NW was doing this swap so i could get dimensions in person...

Has anyone tried these hooker mounts with a t56? From reading these posts
its seems like the mounts place the motor back and 3/8 " higher which
might cause some major cutting of the tunnel. With the S&P mounts the
t56 fits right in with only having to cut a new shifter hole. Anyone know?

I dont think anybody has. I doubt they'll clear properly with the old, with the new, possibly.

Sorry to bring it back from the dead, but bump...

I finally have the money for the headers, and NEED to know whether to get the Hookers or S&P...I'd like to stay under 700, so those are my only choices...but will the Hookers fit?

-69 Camaro with S&P motor mounts and stock steering?
