Default Radiator Search

Just purchased a 2005 5.3L Vortec H.O. and a 4L60E Tran. - will be installing into a 1966 Chev. Pickup.

I have heard a 1998 - 2002 Camaro radiator for a 5.7L is a good fit. I am looking for the least expensive source to get the radiator and electric fan setup for this. Can I get any suggestions?

THANKS

If you know that is a good fit, you can probably pick one up in the For Sale forum from someone parting a car out. Do a search on radiator in that forum or look for the parting out threads.

I would go for a local replacement radiator for that
truck body, "tow package". Get a large diameter fan
from the auto parts store, a relay (usually comes with)
and a thermostat in the 75C range from Digi-Key to
kick that relay when radiator water temp gets up
that high.

If the tempature sensor is not part of the radiator, wouldn't a $150.00 from SummitRacing.com do? They have them for auto trans. cars too. That way you could get a little thicker one.
