Just in case they really need to be wired, most of these are on connector 220 (white) and 230 (blue). These connector/pins are from my 98 LS1, other models may be different.
220 A - Red - Alternator
220 B - Tan -Oil Pressure
220 G - Grn/Wht - VSS (speedometer)
220 K - DrkGrn - Coolant Temp
230 B - Brwn/Wht - SES Light input
230 D - Wht - Tach Signal
they all should operate like stock.
stock, the temp and oil pressure gauges have a wire going to the sender.. they should now goto senders on the LS1.
the fuel and volt gauge should not have been touched.
the speedo wire should now goto the LS1 PCM, and be corrected in the tune for gearing and tire size.
the tach wire shoudl now goto the PCM, and be corrected in the tune for V8 output on a V8 tach, or V6 output on a V6 tach.
they should all work.

and the fuel works and i think maybe the volts but thats it.. my boyfriend has the car so i cant just run out and look at it...
well, in a nutshell, yes.. they should work.
what this shop did, or didnt do, i cant tell you.
i can tell you that if any of the gauges work, then its not the fuse thats the problem.
This swap was done in 00' i believe right after the car came out... os i dont think anyone had even thought about doing some thing like this yet...
personaly id just buy aftermarket or use LS1s as a temp

if you decide to keep the stockers, i can try to help you figure out the wiring to connect the stock gauges.
swapping in a 2002 LS1 to a 1984 Trans Am. I understand I'll need to change my speedo to an electrical one, and since I'm doing this i'll match the tach.
I'd like to keep the dash fairly stock and just install the speedo/ tach into the dash. however, there's a huge PC board behind it all. If I cut this away I'll likely destroy it and then nothing behind it will work
i understand the sender wire from the 4th gen gas tank will work with my stock gauge.
How about hooking up the oil pressure, or engine temp gauge?
ay suggestions will be greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
