Probably 17x9.5 up front, 17x11 in back. The fenders have to be cut and flares added. That part of the project won't happen until it is running and the bugs are all worked out of the drivetrain.

There will be full documentation/pictures when it is done. I'm not doing the work, I have a very generous and close friend with superb fabricating skills that has designed and built the car for me. My job is just to go pick up parts and post the progress (and then drive it when it's done).

A cross post:
Here's today's progress. Finished the main power leads, oil circuit and hung the front suspension. The flapper valve is a low cracking pressure, high flow viton seal one way valve that's used to prevent oil backflow when utilizing accusump reservoirs. The small brass fitting next to the battery distribution point is a clutch slave cylinder remote bleeder point. Beats trying to bleed the clutch in the tunnel where there's no room.

I really can't wait until the 3 series swaps get down to an exact science (or close to) like the RX7's are. When that happens my lusting for a CTSV will end and I'll do the swap. Although I don't know why you couldn't even go a little cheaper and do a 5.3 install with small cam that would be a nice motor for the "budget swap"

jeez the install looks top notch quality wise. awesome work, you have to be stoked.
cant wait to know when its up and running, best of luck to ya!
I agree the BMW swaps are a sweet way to get a comfy 4 seater into the garage with a sick powerplant... nice for the family dudes here and pretty cool in their own right. there is a lot of power to be found in the LS1 setups for really cheap compared to a comparable BMW motor.

And here is the finished engine bay. Just the final wiring of the dash left before we fire it up. Even though I'm used to seeing this high level of work on every 'home' project my friend undertakes, this even blows me away!
