Sorry, no idea on the bracket... but is that a Stielow car? Looks that clean to me.

S & P has a new factory style mount on the top pass. side. I'm not sure if that one is theirs or not though. The vette is not a Stielow car. You can find a lot more about that car at Lateral-g.net in the members area.

I believe that mount is made by one of the board members. Pretty sure he made the first one for his own Monte Carlo

I`m not sure if it is exactly the same but it at least looks very similar to the ones John B. makes, there are more pics on www.montecarloss.com in the technical pages under the LS1 motor swap heading.

Here is a picture of the S&P mount and idlers, I don't have a picture yet with the compressor in place, but you get the idea. If you go to their web site at www.hotrodlane.cc, it is shown on page 80 of their catalog pages.

This mount kit and the belt to fit was $391. They also offer it with the polished compressor for about $300 more.

That bracket is one from Performance Automotive in Sand City, CA. 831/394-4403. It is a bit pricey but IMO I like the look of it alot. Its not much more than S&P but some wont like it. But I am almost positive that is where its from. I recall in a thread a while ago about that same pic.

It is where Mark himself tells where he got it from Not trying to be sounding rude....just want to point you all in the right direction.

Yeah I was looking at the S&P setup but it is too much Bling for me. I want to keep everything factory looking, thats why I like Marks setup.

pist0l: Copy and paste the links, they have referrer-protection on; if you paste them into a blank browser they should work.

It's a nice bracket, I'd be more inclined to pay $300 for that one than I would for S&P's - those billet idlers on S&P's are needless bling, and they're ugly to boot! While I can probably make my compressor work down low, I really would rather have it up high instead and get the A/C lines away from the headers.

Thanks I copy and pasted and it worked fine. Those brackets seem like they would work great for my chevelle. I am with you on the billet thing although I think it looks nice but unless you go for the whole front drive accessory set up from S&P the billet looks out of place.
