FWD 383 is Finished!

Here's some pics. The two stripes are over 100' at 3/4 throttle. Darned 245's, we let off when it shifted to second.

Concept in 2003. Conversion began November 2004. Many delays later (transaxle and other projects), we got back to it sorta full time in Feb 2006. Actual working time about 7-8 months. With all the unique problems solved, another one would take a lot less working time.
if i may make a suggestion to use a single fuel rail cover with some
cool font and GTP LS1 lettering or Pontiac emblem
should surprise a lot of mustangs and f bodys alike

Yep, the turbo is still planned. I want to get a few months of
on before I dive into it again. And we still have some work to do before this phase is completely done. Dyno tuning is a major milestone. That's going to happen pretty soon.
I also have a lot of work to do on the traction issue before putting any more power in.
I'm thinking 2" flares all around and 295's up front. I want to try to keep it subtle somehow. I'd really like to hear people say about the final product, "That looks like GM built it!" But, as we all know, it all comes down to how much money you're willing to spend.
Here is the build project page...Its still in the building process also.
