Default Any write ups on 2 Gen Fbody LS1 Conversions?

Use the search tool but didnt find too much, my dad is planning on using my Old LS1 motor and using it in his 70 Camaro, like to see a write up of all that is involved, im sure he wants to use AC and I'd also like to know how that would be done (Old AC system or LS1's AC system)?

pm 76LS1BIRD on this site....Dale did a '76 'bird with an LS1 in it. He went as far as grafting the front subframe and firewall from a '99 Camaro (I think it was a '99). I've seen the car in person, and it's nicely done. Now you probably won't be doing any grafting, but you could certainly learn some stuff by everything else he did.

Well the plan is to use the factory TH350 (rebuilt) with a LS1 Carb set-up maybe from Edelbrock, just have to reseach how the gauges will work, and what is the easiest way to run the AC systems, reading that 1st link seems using the New AC system would be best but he hasnt updated it on a easier way to do it.

for the LS1 brakes, check out www.pro-touring.com under the disc brakes section. Good info there.
