Part number 14050422.
FWIW I have ordered these 2 different times and they come with a 15mm hex head. Not sure about a M6, but I know an A4 comes with 13mm hex head. I still used them though. HTH

I needed the bellhousing bolts for my M6 and this is the part number the Gm place got me
12523235
does anyone know the difference btw these and the part # above?
I bought these bolts from Gmpartsdiect and not only did they cost alot but they had to be special ordered.....I still have not gotten them. If found the same bolt size with the right head size and of a higher strength then 8.8 at the hardware store for next to nothin.....

I googled your part number, and it appears 12523235 are for fastening the transmission to bellhousing ... The ones listed above are for fastening the bellhousing to the block.
EDIT: I noticed that your p/n is also a M10x1.5x40mm bolt ... my guess is you could use either p/n for the bellhousing to block. Maybe 12523235 has the smaller 13mm hex head?

yeah they'll all work interchangeably. fwiw the bolts that hold the bellhousing to the block are grade 10.9 on my 5.3L and the other tranny bolts are all 9.8. I dont think it matters much though.

So this number (12523235) is correct for the five bolts that are used on the automatic bell housing?
GM parts direct says it's in the "engine clutch housing catagory). I needed five of these to bolt my 4l60e tranny to the 5.3 block.
Thanks!
