Default Corvette fuel rail and filter #s?

What are the part numbers for the corvette fuel rail w/ regulator and the fuel filter? What year are these from?

I want to use them for my conversion. '02 LS1 in my '71 Chevelle.

It looks like the fuel filter is: Wix #33737
or AcDelco: #GF822

So with this filter the regulator is internal correct? What is the difference between the corvette and camaro fuel rail?

Need clarification, Are you planning on running the 2 outlet early Corvette fuel rail that has the pressure regulator and return built in? Or the single inlet fuel rail that needs a regulator elswhere like the one you posted a picture of? You may have your terms confused. The fuel rail is on the motor and has the injectors plugged into it.

I know the difference between a fuel rail and fuel filter. When this was explained to me previously I was told to use a corvette fuel filter and rail. Maybe this was the misunderstanding.

As I understand it now it is run either the early fuel rail or the fuel filter w/ regulator. Is this correct?

If I run this fuel filter w/ the built in regulator can I use my stock LS1 fuel rail?

If I only have to run a return line to the fuel filter that means a shorter line and less cost. Will there be much fuel pressure drop between the filter and the fuel rail (this concerns me)?

If the regulator is at the rail I think the pressure reading would be more accurate.

What did you do on the Stu?

I am trying to figure out what else I need for my fuel system.

List:
'95 Impala Tank
Racetronix 255lph pump upgrade kit

Thanks,
Mike

that is a 99+ corvette rail, F-body rail, and what you'd use with that corvette filter, allowing you to use a shorter return line.

Yes, this is correct

Yes

Yes placing the regulator filter closer to the tank would save fuel line. I have not heard of this creating a pressure drop problem, but I do not have experience in high output applications. It seems to work for the Factory LS6 Corvettes.

If the regulator is at the rail I think the pressure reading would be more accurate.

What did you do on the Stu?

I used the stock fuel rail from my 2000 LS1 with the Corvette Filter/Regulator close to the tank. So far it is working fine, but I have less than 200 miles on it. From everything I have heard from others, it is a popular and trouble free set up.

I am trying to figure out what else I need for my fuel system.

List:
'95 Impala Tank
Racetronix 255lph pump upgrade kit

Sounds like you would just need a regulator, lines and fittings to connect it all together. There is quite a bit of info in the FAQs on fittings that work with the Corvette regulator if that is the way you decide to go. Keep us posted on your project.

Thanks,
Mike
