That's crazy! What sort of mods do you have planned for the motor?

It's got a cam- It's been a while since I put it in, but it's a Comp stick either 218/224 or 222/224 on a 112 LSA- I don't remember exactly.

To the best of my knowledge this will be the only gen III mini out there.

As far as racing- sort of depends on how unruly the car really is. I plan on going to the digs once in a while (althouth technically the wheelbase is too short to pass tech at any NHRA track), and possibly an open track day now and then at Road America depending on my confidence). Don't know how it would be on power tour cause there definitely won't be room for AC, and likely not for heat / defrost- the footwells will get crazy hot- I plan on ceramic coating the headers and doing a ton of insulation work to the firewall / footwell area. The car got hot inside just with the old V6 that was much further forward in the chassis.

I was thinking the exact same thing when I saw the exhaust manifold and the brake pedal....... Hope you have room for some good shields and insulation!

I certainly hope you can control the heat so you can enjoy the car a little. Good luck and nice job so far.
