05 colorado ls1 swap

Paul, why don't you tell everyone how you lied about who's harness it was and that you tried to screw me on it by saying it was yours to get a big discount and it was really a customers truck. did you tell them that your harness was done but not tested and that you flipped out and wanted me to just send you a new harness and computer back, which I did! Also tell them how your girl freind would not let you spend the money on the engine, so you wanted a hand out on one of them also, or was that just another BS lie also????? Paul seeman is a lie and a BSer. don't believe what he says. we did lose our wiring guy and have not been able to hire a new one so we have been refering our customers to Currant.

What about all the stories from people that got screwed on headers? did you lose your header guy too? I don't know all the details to this particular deal, but there seems to be a LOT of people with horror stories about getting parts and getting lied to. There are several members on this board and other boards, that have something in their sig. warning everyone not to do business with ls1 performance parts.
How can so many be so wrong?

Listen up dipshit, It does not matter who's harness it is. Everything I own now will be someone else's at some point. It would stand to reason that I would get a discount as a shop owner doing business as opposed to a guy off of the web. Thats how my napa account works. How could you assume that I would get a better deal by being an average customer?
Why would I tell anyone that my harness is done and not tested when I know that not to be true you fu@#ing liar.
I am sure you lost your wiring guy because you jacked him around as well. I really think you should go into fictional writing, because the performance automotive gig is certainly not your bag.
My wife let me spend nearly 6k on an ls2. It looks like you are selling a supposed built ls2 on ebay for 5,300.00. How is that saving any money when your engine supposedly has more power? Why don't you tell everyone that you bought an engine from me on ebay, and wanted to trade me for one of your gunna get you sued pieces of ****. Why don't you also tell them that you never ended up paying me for that engine there con man.

Thanks for this little bull **** tirade. I can assure you that this will do nothing but strengthen my resolve. I am putting together a list of people that have been screwed by you. I will then forward these names to the AZ state attorney generals office. By the way steve, how is that lawsuit coming along?

I think that we have an obligation to let people know about the risk of using steve hiltner. There is the tech. You would give someone correct advise about a swap wouldn't you? This is really no different. This is my thread, and as such I am going to rock out. There will be more swap tech to follow.

Wow!
This is great. I cant believe steve posted! He is always too busy to answer the phone (after you paid for your order)- but he has time to sign up for the forum. Ive tried to call the bbb in chandler, but the would/could not do anything for me. I think we should start a new thread somewere else so everyone who has delt with him can post.

I sent the truck in for exhaust today and I am really close to finishing it up. Hopefully it will be on its way to current performance next week. Here are a couple of pics.

Thanks for the props guys. Don't worry, I will be posting video of it as soon as possible. You guys will just have to leave the volume off so you won't hear the girlish screams from my buddy chris. He has made it clear that this truck already has him nervous.
I got the cts-v power steering pump and alternator installed. The alternator was straight forward while the power steering was a little tricky. The cts-v power steering pump uses a push in high pressure line because the line is very close to the pulley. I wanted to run -6 fittings because they are dependable and easy to find. I had a bulkhead fitting turned down so that it could be pressed into the bored oem fitting. It was then pre heated to 350 degrees and tig welded.
The power steering pump on the original 3.5 engine is on the pasenger side, so the lines out of the rack were bent in that direction. I cut the lines about 3/4 " away from the plate that retains them in the rack. I had two -6 fittings machined so I could press fit them onto those lines as well.
I used the corvette ac compressor so I didn't completely waste my money. I am looking for a manifold that will work with this set up, but I am not having any luck. If anyone knows of a place that does custom ac fittings, let me know.
I will post some more pics when the truck gets back to the shop.
