Wow are these all Chevelles in progress. Good to see everyone moving along. What motor mounts did you end up using? What were the complications associated with them?

Good Work. We need some pics.

What is done to your suspension? What are the wheel and tire specs? I like your stance.

I used the BRP mounts... Because I have the 6.0l I had to notch the firewall a bit to clear the back of it. With the 4l80e I have no tunnel in the car. People that do not mod the tranny tunnel have one low hanging 4l80e which I do not like. I'm gonna build a tranny tunnel myself. Aside from that, small hickups like my Tanks Inc kit hitting the trunk floor(cutting it out and making access panel).

Suspension wise... Afco spring adjusters 9inch free height springs, in the back they are 12 inch free height, single pig tail. Its pretty simple right now. Gotta get it on the road yet!

Thanks for the comments, I'll try and get some crappy footage tonight and some alright pictures

Looks good. I've been planning on ordering those springs and adjusters. What pound springs are they? 750 front/ 150 rear? Looks good I will be doing some tunnel surgery for my T56.

Whell and tire specs please?

Any other necessary mods w/ BMP mounts? Notched pan, CTS pan ... Which pan are you running?

Thanks - Trying to get this straightened out because the motor will see it's first test fit this weekend.

650 fronts 175 rears. (I'm gonna step up to 850/225 or 950/250 once I get more suspension work done)

Wheels/Tires 16x8 GM ZQ8 S-10 wheels. 255/50/16 rubber. Kumho 712's.

Oil pan.... Camaro oil pan with no mods. Thats how far the BRP mounts set it back. You put them on the engine, lower the engine in place get it straight and all that good stuff, tack the clam shells to the frame, pull engine out leaving clam shells there. Drill new holes and put your hardware in.

Thanks that solves my mount problem. Wow this forum rocks. I'll get some pics of my project up this weekend.

What are your suspension plans?

I'm stock front. Rear: SSM lift bars lower, BMR adjustable uppers, Wolfe Spherical bushings and a passenger side bag. Will be doing sprins soon. The LS1 will make the front ride high.

Did you make your BRP adapter plates or buy the kit from them? Do you have an A/C box on the pass side?

Put up some pics when you get a chance so we can see what you have done.

The mounts are BRP but I did not buy direct. A guy on here bought the kit and decided to go with a aluminum big block so I bought them for a killer deal. No A/C... Never did check to see if it would clear.

I'm pretty busy but I'll find time for pics.

Thanks. I'm not going to run A/C for now anyway. I'll wait till I can afford an under dash unit. Until then I won't mind sweating while hauling ***.
