Default LSx/T-56 in a '97 BMW 328 vert?

I have a '97 BMW 328 convertible that I want to do a LSx/T-56 swap into. I won't be starting the project until this winter, but I was just wondering if anyone would know if I should strengthen the chassis since it's a vert? I didn't know if having the LSx in it would flex the chassis too much. Any input is appreciated.

Thanks,
Jake

Since you dont have the M3, you may want to reinforce the rear subframe, those have a nasty habit of ripping out under heavy loads. Also, Since you have the virt you already have the x-brase installed, lucky bastard.
